Man Smacks Pensioner's Head Against Pavement In Bradford Mugging

The 78-year-old woman was attacked on Saturday afternoon.

A pensioner is recovering after being attacked in a violent robbery in Bradford.

On Saturday 5 August, at around 13:15, the 78-year-old woman was on her way back home on Henderson Place in Wibsey when a man grabbed her from behind.

She was thrown onto the floor and then had her head smacked against the curb by the suspect.

He was disturbed by passer-by and fled the scene without the lady’s bag in the direction of Wyke Lane.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5ft 10”, medium build, with short brown hair. He was wearing a grey hooded tracksuit with black stripes down the leg.
