Sheepridge Man Charged Over Fatal Dog Attack

A man has now been charged after his dog fatally injured his neighbour in Sheepridge, near Huddersfield.

52-year-old David Ellam died in August after suffering multiple injuries by the suspected banned pit bull breed.

Aaron Joseph, 29 of Riddings Road, Huddersfield has been charged with owning a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death and the possession of Cannabis.

He is due to appear at Kirklees Magistrates Court on Thursday March 2.
