Teams from around the Bradford region will once again converge on Roberts Park on Saturday 22nd June 2019 to Race The Dragon in Day two (The Lord Mayor's Championship) of the annual 3-day Bradford Dragon Boat Festival. With forty five team places up for grabs, more than £ 40,000 is expected to be raised. Funds from this event will all go to the 2019 Bradford Lord Mayor's Charities, which will be Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and Nightstop Bradford. All sponsorship raised from this event will be split equally between the two charities.
The Bradford Dragonboat Festival comes to Roberts Park, Saltaire from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd June, with monies raised going to great local causes.
Our boat is racing on Saturday 22nd June & we'll be competing amongst loads of teams from all across Yorkshire!
Plus, Mylo & Rosie will be hosting the stage featuring games, music & special guest performances... stay tuned for more!
Participants must be 18 years or over
Ensure you are able to attend one training session in the build up to the event hosted by Dragon Boat professional John Galt in Shipley (Dates TBC)
Make sure you are available from 9.30am on Saturday 22nd June to 5pm
