City To Trial 'Atmosphere Section' At Valley Parade

Blocks G and H are being dedicated to the trial.

Bradford City have announced the club will trial an ‘atmosphere section’ when they play host to Leyton Orient, later this year.

Sections of the upper tier of the North West Corner are to be made available to those wishing to partake on Saturday March 14 (3pm).

Blocks G and H are being dedicated to the trial, with tickets now available to purchase in those areas.

If you sit elsewhere at Valley Parade and wish to move into these sections, the club are offering complimentary ‘seat swaps’.

Likewise, supporters who would prefer to move out of the area are able to do so free of charge.

City’s director of communications, Ryan Sparks, said: "Atmosphere is a key ingredient of our matchday experience and is something we are committed to enhancing.

"We boast the best home form in the division and our crowds are averaging around 14,200. The noise generated and the support behind the team has certainly played a part in such success.

"The 'atmosphere section' is a concept we have been looking implement for a while, having observed similar examples at other clubs.

"We understand some of our current season-ticket holders will be displaced as a result of this trial fixture.

"However, this area of the stadium has been selected as a midpoint between two main stands and affects the least amount of supporters.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and must reiterate this is a trial fixture.

"We welcome feedback on the matter and look forward to working closely with our supporters - after the event."
