7-Year-Old Girl Inured In Bradford Hit And Run

A motorbike collided with the girl- before the driver raced off.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a motorbike and a child in Bradford.  

A seven-year-old girl suffered minor injuries following the collision, which occurred as she was crossing the road in Oak Lane at about 5.20pm on Wednesday. 

She was taken to hospital for further treatment.  

The motorbike which was believed to be carrying a pillion passenger, failed to stop and carried on towards Manningham Lane.  

Enquiries are continuing and anyone who witnessed the collision or who knows the identity of the rider is asked to contact PC 5456 Lawrenson at the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support Team on 101, quoting log 1360 of 24 May.
