72-year-old in hospital following motorbike crash in Shipley

The rider was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision on Shipley Airedale Road in Bradford.

The collision happened at 14:40 on Sunday (12/7) when a black Yamaha motorbike which was travelling towards Shipley.

The bike collided with the pavement which caused the rider to fall off the bike. No other vehicles were involved.

The 72-year-old male rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for urgent medical treatment.

No one else was injured.
