Five Injured After Incident At Bradford Nightclub

Five people have been arrested following the incident outside the Village nightclub.

Detectives are investigating following a large scale disorder in Bradford city centre which left five people injured.

Officers were called at 3.30am on Sunday morning (21/7) to Westgate at the junction of Sackville Street, Bradford, following reports of disorder on the street. From initial enquiries, it appears there has been an altercation within the Village nightclub, which has continued outside the Sackville Street club and then onto Westgate.

Five people were taken to hospital with stab and slash wounds. Two remain at hospital; with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Five men, ranging between 19 to 27 years old, have been arrested in connection with this incident.

Detective Sergeant Tom Levitt, of Bradford District CID, said: “We have spoken to a number of people already; however we believe that there may be further witnesses, including some who have captured video footage of this incident on their mobile phones.

“I would urge anyone who has seen any part of this incident, both in the nightclub and outside on the street, to please make contact.”
