People of West Yorkshire urged to give blood over the Christmas period.
People in West Yorkshire are being urged to remember to give blood this Christmas period.
The NHS is concerned that blood stocks tend to go down during December and in the colder months of January and February.
Donor relations manager Darren Bowen said: "With the onset of things like flu, and of course with Christmas parties, giving blood isn't always the first thing on people's mind."
"What we're trying to do is just remind people that there are people that will need blood this Christmas and by booking an appointment, you can help to save and improve their life."
