Jury Out In Huddersfield Buried Alive Trial

The Jury went out at 3pm yesterday to consider its verdict. Two men are charged with attempted murder.

The jury could come to a decision later this morning in the trial of two men charged with the attempted murder of a woman near Huddersfield, who they allegedly left to die in a shallow grave.

Leeds Crown Court had previously heard 27-year-oldMichelina Lewandowska explain how she was repeatedly shot with a stun-gun in May this year.

It is then alleged that she was tied up, put in a cardboard box, and left in a shallow grave near Woodsome Hall Golf Club. She managed to escape and flagged down a passing motorist.

18-year-old Patryk Borys and 25-year-old Marcin Kasprazak deny the charge of attempted murder but admit kidnap.

Yesterday the jury were sent away to consider their verdict.
