Man Left With Broken Leg In Halifax Attack

Anyone with information should call West Yorkshire Police on 101.

A man has suffered a broken leg in a violent attack in Halifax.

The 41-year-old was assaulted at the Yates on Silver Street at 12.30am on Sunday.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and has been released while investigations continue. 

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Detectives would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the assault or anyone who has any information to contact Calderdale CID.

"Anyone with information should call 101."
