Nestle In Court

Charged after death of worker in Halifax.

Yorkshire chocolate giant Nestle is in court today - charged with Health and safety breaches after the death of a worker.

Nazar Hussain died back in 2008 at their Halifax plant, when he was clearing a blockage in a machine, and a co-worker turned it on.

Nestle failed to make sure a safety device was correctly used that would have stopped the machine - and that it was adeduately guarded.

They've already pleaded guilty.
