Speak, Share, STOP - Pulse 1 & Pulse 2's anti-bullying campaign - has officially launched.
We're hoping to highlight, tackle and (hopefully help) stop bullying through a series of short programmes on both our stations.
We want people to SPEAK up, SHARE their experiences and help us STOP bullying. We'll be hearing from charities, teachers, councillors and school children.
To start with, we've spoken to the NSPCC here in West Yorkshire who, through their service Childline are often the first person of contact for victims.
Darren Worth is from Childline's helpline in Leeds. He told Pulse 1 & Pulse 2: "Bullying can impact children's mental health, their ability to do well at school and in some cases it can make them want to self harm or feel suicidal.
"We really encourage you to talk about whats happening and to try to take positive steps for yourself. It's really important that you feel able to be listened to.
On Pulse 1 & Pulse 2's Speak, Share, STOP, Darren told us: "Any forum which aims to help you people to speak openly about their experiences, in a non-judgemental way, can nly be a positive thing!"
