Different Strokes, which is run by younger stroke survivors for younger stroke survivors, promotes independent stroke recovery, supporting people in reclaiming their lives.

The charity promotes peer to peer support with it's Facebook page a much-used resource for those asking for help in their recovery; and to to share experiences, receive emotional support, and feel less isolated.

- asking what a stroke is

- hearing about support groups
