Later this week, I'll be joined on the show by Bradfordian Mike Dinn who played a major role in getting the TV pictures and audio of the moon landings in 1969 across the world.
Mike went to St Joseph's and St Bede's school in Bradford before emigrating to Australia in 1960.
Mike was Deputy Station Director at the Honeysuckle Creek tracking station near Canberra which was part of NASA's Manned Spaceflight Network. The images of Neil Armstrong's first steps on the moon were received by Mike's dish at Honeysuckle Creek and transmitted around the world, which got the largest ever TV audience ever at the time.
Thanks for your help this morning with your moon songs, here's our MOON Montage>>>
