What A Day!

What a day for Halifax!  A £19million project that has taken over 3 years to complete was finally revealed to thousands of people on Yorkshire Day.
The gates opened at 9.30am, and the Piece Hall was officially opened by Hannah Cockroft MBE ringing the renovated bell to mark the start of trading.

It was an historic day, where the history, but also the future, of The Piece Hall was well and truly a focus of the day.
I was live throughout the day on Pulse 2 with many guests popping in to share their thoughts and reaction to the project, the sun shone and the 66,000 sq foot of piazza was bustling right from the word go!

Here's some of the interviews we featured on the show with more to come.
