Traditional Pancake Recipe
The 3-2-1 Batter Recipe

300ml of Milk

2 medium eggs

100g of plain flour
*As tradition goes, pancakes are made to use up items in the cupboard so pancake recipes vary, many use the same recipe for Yorkshire Puddings as pancakes.
(Makes around 8 pancakes)

  • Whisk all 3 of your ingredients together, forming a smooth batter
  • Heat a tablespoon of your oil of choice in a frying pan on medium heat
  • Poor a thin layer of batter into the pan and cook for approx 30 seconds until golden brown
  • Flip the pancake - you may want to use a spatula to ease it from the pan first!
  • Cook the other side until nicely golden brown
  • Serve with your choice of toppings - or stack them up as you cook placing them on a plate separated by grease proof paper and keep warm in the oven on a low to medium heat
